Mt. Bruce wildlife sanctuary.

Mt. Bruce is the only sanctuary in the world to have a white KIWI!! It was really exciting to see one finally. Kiwi's are nocturnal so they are hard to find in the wild. I recently found out that there is no native mammal from New Zealand. So basically this is a bird paradise. But now since us humans had to bring over cats, dogs and farming animals the birds might not have it as easy.  Anyways, here are some pictures of the birds. We weren't allowed to use flash to show the Kiwi's so the big thing in the middle of the picture is the bird.
